In the town of Amatrice at least 218 people died, 49 bodies were found in Arquata del Tronto Pescara del Tronto and 11 accumoli.
About 2,500 people were left homeless. Balance was previously announced 267 dead.
Matteo Renzi government ordered the proclamation of mourning Saturday throughout Italy.
Was hit central Italy, on August 24, three surface earthquakes - magnitude 6.0, 5.4 and 4.8 degrees - followed by hundreds of aftershocks. The first earthquake of 6.0 degrees, occurred at 3.36 (4.36 GMT) in the accumoli / Arquata del Tronto (on the border of Lazio and Marche, in central Italy), at a depth of only 4 km. Followed by two further telluric movements at 4.32 and 4.33 pm, with intensities of 5.4, or 4.8 degrees at depths of 8 and 9 kilometers. The three earthquakes were followed by dozens of aftershocks with intensities between 2 and 4 degrees. Worst situations are in the municipalities Amatrice, accumoli and Arquata del Tronto.
