Volksbanken to invest another 3m euros

The Austrians from Volksbanken AG are planning to invest almost three million euros to increase the capital of the group's Romanian branch. By the end of January at the latest, the Bucharest-based management of Volksbank Romania will report a 100 billion ROL capital increase, from 280bn ROL to 380 billion. The bank also aims to double its market share in terms of assets and attracted deposits. Moreover, Volksbank Romania will add another four subsidiaries to the current eight. ZF
