Kinnarps enters office furniture market

Kinnarps, one of the leading European players on the office furniture market, will officially enter the Romanian market this spring, shortly after Ikea, the biggest furniture retailer in the world had announced a similar move. "On April 1, 2006, Kinnarps SRL (the local division of the Swedish producer Kinnarps) will become operational. This year, we intend to open the first Kinnarps showroom. It will bring the whole range of products manufactured in our facilities in Sweden," Tiberius Soltesz, regional manager of Kinnarps told ZF. He says they have not decided yet if the showroom will be built on a location owned by the company or on a rented area. Their decision to penetrate the Romanian furniture market is based, according to the Kinnarps official, on the growth prospects in the field. ZF
