Ford Dealer: Clients are already interested in the Transit Connect model manufactured in Craiova

Teodor Brusalis, general manager of Romcar Motors, one of the biggest Ford dealers, part of TiriacAuto, says that in 2010 the company will be primarily sustained by car servicing activities, sales of used cars, as the car market is not expected to pick up. The reintroduction of the pollution tax slightly boosted sales in November and December. In the case of Romcar, the best-selling model is Focus compact model, which, according to the company's officials, accounts for 40% in total sales. In 2010, Ford network will also start selling the Transit Connect utility car manufactured in Ford Craiova plant. "There are already clients interested in the Transit Connect model manufactured in Romania, in Craiova, as they want to buy one. Information on this model will come from the producer and importer as we do not have this model for sale, yet. As far as we know, the model will be available in the near future," Romcar Motors head also said.
