Arobs Transilvania Software, a Cluj-based producer and supplier of IT applications, expects a 10-15% sales rise this year against 2009, when the company's business reached 6.5 million euros. Last year Arobs posted a 10% turnover decline on the previous year.

"We are counting on a recovery of the IT&C market starting in the second part of the year, with companies in the IT sector set to narrow the gap created last year. Hardware sales, the segment most affected by the crisis, will take the longest to recover, whereas mobile terminals and related software applications will see a much faster rise in the coming period," Voicu Oprean, general manager of Arobs Transilvania Software, told ZF Transilvania.

The Cluj company operates on three different business segments (distribution of navigation systems, software applications for the domestic market and software solutions for the foreign market). According to Arobs representatives, the number of customers who acquire TrackGPS software solutions (car GPS tracking) and OptimallSFA (sales automation) continues to grow. The company has over 450 clients for its TrackGPS application, with around 6,000 cars being tracked.
