The chairman of Brinel group, Marcel Borodi, a major domestic player in the IT&C field, sees sales rebound in 2010 and counts on IT investments getting back to normal starting the second half of this year. The Cluj-based group in 2008 generated turnover worth around 28m euros, and last year Brinel officials took into account a possible sales contraction against the previous year. "This year we plan to maintain Brinel's position on the market, focusing on using the opportunities set to emerge with the slight economic recovery. The difference from 2009 is that the market has somewhat thawed out compared with the same period of last year. Companies experienced a year when they felt the lack of IT infrastructure investments or, on the contrary, they got to realise the benefits this component brings during economic recession periods," Marcel Borodi told ZF Transilvania. Brinel group has over 500 active customers and 140 employees.
