First Dusters to be delivered this week

Duster SUV, the most expensive car manufactured in Mioveni, with a price that can go to over 17,000 euros, is the first Dacia model managing to attract clients from other import brands to the domestic carmaker, according to Dacia dealers. These had been so far used only to losing clients to brand imports on the 10,000-euro price segment. "We have clients who had originally chosen a small-class model, such as Skoda Fabia or Ford Fiesta, but who have now ordered a 4x4 Duster," said Calin Abrudan, a sales manager with Dacia Service Cluj Feleac, part of OTC Group, with 100 orders so far for the Romanian SUV. This week, dealers will start delivering the models ordered by clients at the beginning of March. More than half of Duster clients have chosen four-wheel drive and diesel engine models, with a price of above 15,000 euros. The number of orders has soared after April 15, when the model was effectively presented in showrooms. In the first weekend alone orders went up from 600 to more than 1,000.
