T-bills, banking deposits and investment funds last year attracted the largest placements from the funds managed by Raiffeisen Asset Management investment manager, the second biggest mutual fund manager. With six mutual funds in the portfolio, Raiffeisen Asset Management ended last year with net assets under management worth more than 1bn RON. Raiffeisen Monetar, the fund boasting the biggest asset volume, invested almost 60% of the over 600m RON assets in banking deposits, with deposits opened with Banca Romaneasca and UniCredit Tiriac as the main placements. Besides banking deposits, T-bills attracted around 15% of the fund's assets at the end of last year. Euro-denominated T-bills were the main placements by Europlus, the manager's second fund of conservative placements, drawing in around 40% of the fund's over 73m-euro assets. With three funds with exposure to equity markets, the manager last year opted for placement diversification, investing in domestic mutual funds, international investment funds and directly in stock listed on the BSE.
