Market of erectile dysfunctions: 3,000 pills sold per day

Over one million pills for the treatment of erectile dysfunctions are sold in Romania every year, i.e. 3,000 pills per day, reveal ZF's calculations based on data from players on the market.
In terms of value, however, the market amounts to over 7 million euros per year, with the 40% growth rate recorded in the first quarter of this year being difficult to replicate in other sectors of the economy.
Although the erectile dysfunction drug market is small compared with the the size of the drug industry put at nearly 2 billion euros per year, its significant rise makes it particularly attractive for companies. Romanians spend over 100 RON per pack of product in drugstores.
