Mike Holmes, the American who has run Pepsi's Romanian operations since 2006, is leaving the top position at the helm of the soft drinks bottler and is to be replaced by Pavlos Katsivelis who will coordinate both the juice and snacks units.

The name of Mike Holmes, 56, is linked to the opening of the biggest soft drinks plant in Pepsi's portfolio on the Romanian market, in the wake of an 85m-dollar investments in a project started from scratch.
The plant was launched last autumn, near Bucharest, and marked a key point for the American whose term started after PepsiAmericas took over the bottling of Pepsi brands domestically.
Early this year, PepsiAmericas' global operations were taken over by PepsiCo so that in March "Mike Holmes accepted the temporary job of managing the integration of the two businesses in Romania (snacks and drinks) until the arrival of a new general manager for Romania," PepsiCo representatives told BUSINESS Magazin.
