The management contract sealed by the Asesoft group with Realitatea Media has brought into the spotlight the 31 year-old who now controls companies with over 300 million euros in annual turnover. The story of Asesoft's rise is tightly connected to deals with the state, politics, and, as Asesoft's owner Sebastian Ghiţă says, it has to do with charisma, prudence, and the ability to mobilise resources.

Cash reserves and the prudence of the nearly ten years during which the economy grew explosively, and now, decisions to invest at a time when the market reached a low point beyond which a decline less probable, are, in short, the key elements of the strategy that makes Asesoft a winner of the crisis, says Sebastian Ghiţă, the entrepreneur who put together a conglomerate with over 300 million euros in annual turnover in IT&C and electronics and home appliances retail, and which is expanding towards communications, media, wind energy, real estate and wine.

"I ended up in this position thanks to the prudence of the first few years, and now, thanks to the decision to become involved in businesses such as eMag and Flanco," says Ghiţă, who links his decision to invest to the fact that one can buy cheap at present, when the market is down.
