Vodafone revenues down 12% to 425m euros

Overall revenues of Vodafone Romania fell by 12.4% in the first half of fiscal year 2010-2011 ended on September 30th, to 425.7 million euros, with the EBITDA down by 20.5%, to 177.1 million euros. The company posted 486 million euros in revenues and an EBITDA of 223 million euros in the similar period of last year, according to previous reports.
Service revenues fell by 13% to 411 million euros. Vodafone did not provide details on revenue progression between July and September. The company sent a release with the progression of the main performance indicators, without adding any details on the progression of revenues, of the number of clients or of the market.
Spanish manager Inaki Berroeta is to take over at the helm of Vodafone Romania after Liliana Solomon, who has been CEO since 2005, ends her term. She will take over as Director of Operations for the Europe Region of Vodafone at the company's London headquarters as of December 1st.
