Nestor of NNDKP: Nothing of what has happened so far has been able to bring back growth
Lawyer Ion Nestor, 57, who founded and has been running NNDKP
(Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen), one of the leading
players on the legal market, says this is the second year of
decline for the law firm market, amid problems facing the economy
and companies.
"This year has not confounded my expectations. We did not expect
miracles. We had a conservative budget, which took into
consideration adverse factors. The economic context has not
improved. Nothing of what has happened in the last 18 months has
been able to bring about sound economic growth," Nestor told Ziarul
Financiar in an interview.
NNDKP law firm last year posted 13.9 million euros in revenues,
down 6% on 2008, ranking second among the largest law firms in
Romania after the first year of revenue decline amid client
problems, which has also put pressure on outsourced legal
services.
