The stock of empty spaces in Piaţa Victoriei (Victory Square), viewed as Bucharest's main business hub exceeds 20,000 square metres, around 10% of the total area in this location.

Finding an office space in Piaţa Victoriei is no longer an impossible and extremely costly mission, as it was two or three years ago, after a series of companies have relocated from the buildings in the area, while part of the newly developed buildings have not got their spaces filled, yet.

According to a ZF survey, based on information provided by real estate consultants, in 13 of the around 20 buildings in the area of Piaţa Victoriei there are about 20,000 square metres available, at rents ranging between 15 and 20 euros per square metre, 20% lower than in the period ahead of the crisis.

Even cheaper are the spaces in the buildings located on Doctor Felix Street, while the owners of Metropolis project on Iancu de Hunedoara Street are asking for 22 euros per square metre.
