Changes at the top of Raiffeisen Bank: starting next year, the reins of the retail unit will be taken over by Vladimir Kalinov, 40, the current executive vice-president in charge of risk, while Răzvan Munteanu, 44, who has been running retail in the past five years, will be promoted to Vienna, to the headquarters of Raiffeisen International.

Banking sources state the decision has been made recently, in the wake of talks in Austria on the occasion of the parent-bank's having approved the 2011 budget for Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
Marinel Burduja, the executive first vice-president in charge with the corporate unit for nine years, will keep his position, despite recent rumours regarding his possible departure from Raiffeisen.
The current head of retail at Raiffeisen, Răzvan Munteanu, is set to be in charge with the same field, but at group level.
His future successor, Vladimir Kalinov, is a Bulgarian-born and has been working for Raiffeisen Romania since 2005.
