The company that sold several million euros' worth of software to Dinu Patriciu

Magister Software company, with turnover put at 2m euros this year, has provided IT solutions for 140 Mic.ro stores owned by businessman Dinu Patriciu, with the contract worth several million euros, Dor Bujor Pădureanu, the company's chairman and single shareholder, told ZF.

"This is the most important contract signed this year. We started the project in spring and we managed, in six months, to provide the IT solutions for 140 stores. On average, there were 20 stores per month," Pădureanu stated.

Magister Software, set up nine years ago, provides IT solutions especially to small and medium-sized retailers, with the company's products being currently implemented in over 3,200 stores countrywide.

Magister Software official explained Mic.ro representatives contacted him to get specialised on the district retail market.

Magister supplied the 140 stores with the SmartCash RMS solution, as well as with hardware parts. Also, the company provided training for the small and medium retail segment.

Last year, the company reached 66,400-euro income amid 0.5m-euro turnover, according to Finance Ministry data.
