Anca Vlad, owner of drug distributor Fildas Trading, says she is looking for a partner, but does not want to give up control of the business. "Fildas is not for sale. What we are interested in is a partnership of ideas and of funding," Anca Vlad told weekly magazine BUSINESS Magazin, adding that it had not been decided yet what form this partnership would take. We are looking for a partner that could, if it wanted to, become a shareholder as well," explains the owner of Fildas, who added that, if this were to happen, she would only give up a minority stake. "Maybe it's a little strange, but I don't want to sell." Anca Vlad says her ambition is to prove that a Romanian company can successfully cope with European competition." The collaboration, however, can also take the shape of funding from banks, similar to the line of credit contracted by A&D Pharma.
