Austrians, French, and Russians interested in Romanian digital TV market

Three foreign companies, which are already operating or have been involved in developing digital terrestrial television in countries such as Hungary, France, and Austria, are among the potential winners of digital television licences, which will be awarded by the end of 2010.
The conditions of contract for awarding the two multiplex licences for DVB-T digital terrestrial television in Romania, a compulsory step in the process of selecting the winner, have been bought by seven companies: ORS (Austria), TDF (France), General Satellite (Russia), and four local companies, announced the Communications Management and Regulatory Authority National (ANCOM).
