Fiterman family of Iaşi, which invests in the pharmaceuticalindustry and private healthcare services, where it owns FitermanPharma producer, Arcadia hospital and clinic, has so far investedover 20m euros in these projects, but plans further investments andthe first project on its agenda entails moving the plant, whichwill take a 5m-euro budget.
The two businesses last year generated cumulated turnover worthover 6.6m euros, according to company data, and both wereprofitable. Thus, Arcadia Medical Center reached net income worth0.5m RON (0.1m euros) amid turnover of 5.3m RON (1.3m euros), whileFiterman Pharma posted 3.6m RON (0.8m euros) profit, amid 23m RON(5.4m euros) turnover, according to Trade Registry data.
For this year, the company expects 3.5m-euro turnover for thehospital, which became operational in June 2010. No data isavailable on the budgets of the other companies.
Arcadia Hospital took 20m-euro investments and is among the biggestprivate hospitals in the country, with 220 beds.
