Tymbark eyes mineral water market and hopes for 10% growth

Poland's Tymbark Maspex company, the biggest nectar producerdomestically, is likely to tackle the mineral water segment, a300m-euro market, after having recently added "production ofmineral water and other bottled waters" to its core business, asrevealed in the Official Gazette.
"We're permanently open to new opportunities, watching the entiremarket, and this is why we're not ruling out any developmentpossibility in the field," said Krzysztof Grabowski, chairman ofthe company's board.
Tymbark, one of the biggest Polish investors in Romania, reached54m-euro turnover in 2009 and owns two soft drinks plants inVălenii de Munte, Prahova county.
For 2011, the Polish producer has budgeted a 10% turnover increase,after registering a similar trend in 2010.
"We estimate we got close to initial estimates in 2010, havingforecast a 10% sales increase from 2009. Exports outpaced thedomestic market," said Grabowski.
