Starting September 15, music shops in Bucharest will sell the new maxi-single of the Vama Veche group, entitled "Nu ne mai trageti pe dreapta" ("Stop making us pull over").

This maxi-single represents a premiere in our country, as it is the first one having a thin plastic cover, which is characteristic only for this type of recordings. The wrapping has only a paper cover, the upper side being transparent, so that the CD can be seen.

The maxi-single will be launched along with the T-shirts reading the title of this latest musical production of the group: "Stop making us pull over". The CD was pre-launched yesterday at the Diesel Club in Cluj.

The Vama Veche maxi-single is edited by MediaPro Music and has been expected by fans since this spring.

The song "Stop make us pull over," which was performed for the first time during the concerts of the tour "Povestea merge mai departe" (The story goes on), gives the title of the maxi-single that also includes a live variant of the song "Ana", a hard trip mix made by Junkyard for the song "Vara asta" (This summer), a remix signed by musician Adrian Enescu for the hit "Hotel Cismigiu" (Cismigiu Hotel) and another one for "Vara asta,, signed by Matze.

In the song "Nu ne mai trageti pe dreapta", Vama Veche reveals a slightly comical side, by approaching a social theme that is often encountered in day-to-day life: the relation between a policeman and the driver who does not say no to a couple of bears every now and then...

From a musical point of view, the song "Nu ne mai trageti pe dreapta" belongs to the Vama Veche style, with music-hall influences. Beside usual instruments - bass, drums and piano the group used a cello, a trumpet, a trombone and electric guitars for registering this song.

Since it was founded four years ago, Vama Veche has managed to impose a new style on the Romanian music market. Their many hits and massive record sales recommend the group as one having an impressive box-office.

At this moment, the group is made up of Tudor Chirila - lead singer, Liviu Manescu - bass guitar, Traian Balanescu - piano and keyboard, and Razvan "Lapi" Lupu - drums and percussion.
