Romania's MKB Romexterra Leasing Plans To Hike Share Capital By RON14M, To RON33M

MKB Romexterra Leasing has a share capital of RON19.17 million.

The operation will be made by issuing maximum 828,497 shares, with a face value of RON17 per share, which could be subscribed by stockholders based on the owned stake. The subscription could be made in one month from publishing the decision in the Official Gazette.

In June, the company reduced its share capital by RON22.6 million, from RON41.7 million to RON19.1 million, to cover the loss carried forward. The face value of the company's shares was reduced by RON20 to RON17 per share.

Set up in 2003, the leasing company is controlled by MKB Romexterra Bank, which holds 94.78% of the stock. The remainder is in the hands of four companies (5.09%) and 14 individuals (0.12%).

In 2010, the company posted losses of RON7.3 million. (EUR1=RON4.5313)
