VB Leasing, contracts worth 75m euros in H1

VB Leasing, part of Volksbanken financial group, in the first half of the year sealed contracts worth 75 million euros, with this value due to go up to 110 million euros at the end of this month. "Although the car market will continue to grow and is expected to post a 10% surge, it is the equipment sector that will indeed witness strong development. The total financing budget we have set for next year amounts to 180-200 million euros," said Razvan Diaconescu, VB Leasing manager. By comparison, the value of leasing contracts the company concluded last year reached 112 million euros, more than double the level posted during the previous year. VB Leasing borrowed 10 million euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development over a 10-year period, to finance small and medium-sized enterprises.
