The Portuguese company Coindu has begun its 30 million-euro investment in the opening of a factory in Arad for the production of automotive upholstery by selecting a constructor and employees. Coindu's decision means that construction of the factory, which is to be located in the Curtici-Arad Free Zone, will be entrusted to two local companies. The project was devised by Proiect Arad and actual construction works will be done by the Arad-based constructor ICIM. According to the Romanian Agency for Foreign Investments (ARIS), Coindu last week signed a contract with ICIM worth around 3.6 million euros. The company has also recruited 14 employees that will go through a training programme at one of Coindu's two facilities in Portugal. ZF< /P>
