Altex counts Teletech sales

Teletech, Altex Group's own electronics brand, last year enjoyed a 5% share of the TV set market, according to company estimates. Launched last autumn, Teletech managed sales of 37,000 units. Costing an average of 4 million ROL (around 100 euros) per set, Teletech TVs, which are positioned on the affordable product segment, generated almost 3.7 million euros in sales for the retailer. "Consumers in this a market are fickle and it is largely down to the quality of the product on offer to ensure their loyalty, while the price has to be as attractive as possible," said Raul Filip, Altex's marketing and sales manager for the electronics segment.
