Pambac sales stop at 35m euros

Pasta maker Pambac Bacau will conclude this year with 35 million-euro turnover, up nearly 50% from the previous year, despite statistics showing a decline in the consumption of bread and pasta country-wide. Ion Raducan, Pambac's chairman, says the company completed a 7.4 million-euro investment in expanding its production and storage capacity. The equipment became functional in September and the total grinding capacity currently amounts to approximately 850 tonnes of wheat a day. Pambac estimates its pasta market share at about 30%. ZF
