Holland margarine producer to invest in frozen foods

Royal Brinkers Romania company, the local branch of Dutch margarine and vegetable fats producer Royal Brinkers BV, has this year invested around 2 million euros in the expansion of its Romanian production capacities. The company is well known on the market for its Holland and Linco margarine brands. "In November, we finalised our investments in Iasi in a frozen patisserie plant, which initially will produce pastry and pie pastry under the Linco brand. Total investment in 2004 came to around 2.5 million dollars (around 2 million euros) and was directed to the new frozen patisserie plant in Iasi, expansion of existing production capacities in Bucharest and the company logistics system," said Gabriel Terinte, trade manager with Royal Brinkers Romania. Thi s year the company expects turnover of 14 million euros, a 27% increase year-on-year. ZF
