No dividends for Ana-Imep shareholders

Electrical engine producer Ana-Imep Pitesti, controlled by businessman George Copos will again distribute no dividends this year, as most of last year's profits will be reinvested. Ana-Imep logged net profit of 133.1 billion ROL ($4.06m) last year, up 27.6% in ROL from the previous year. The company posted turnover of 1,392 billion ROL ($42.18m) in 2003, up 24.3% compared to 2002. Ana-Imep has granted no dividends in the past three years, a policy imposed by George Copos who controls the main stake in the company through Ana Group. ZF
