Textila Oltul up 30%

Textila Oltul last year logged 300 billion ROL (7.9m euros) in turnover, up 30% from 2002, said the company's general manager Vlastimir Isakovics. "We invested some $2.8m in new equipment, which pushed the plant's production capacity up to 1.3 million square metres of fabrics monthly," Isakovics added. According to the textile company's general manager, the upgrading process will continue in the next few years. Textila Oltul has invested about 4.6 million euros in the past three years. The company's main competitors on the Romanian market are Dacia Bucharest and Textil Iasi. ZF
