Foreign banker in BCR Board

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which have bought 25% in the Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR), will appoint their representative in BCR's Board next week. "Our representative will be an internationally-reputed foreign banker," Noreen Doyle, EBRD first vice-president, said after signing, together with Khosrow Zamani, IFC director for South Europe and Central Asia, the sale-purchase contract for a 25%-stake plus two shares in BCR.
