The Sandwich Factory to expand

The Sandwich Factory, the distribution chain behind the Snack Attack sandwiches, will invest almost $1m in opening 13 units in Bucharest by the end of next year. The long-term strategy also targets development in the big Romanian cities. "The Sandwich Factory network currently owns 6 stores, with the seventh in the works. So far, we have invested some $500,000," said Florin Balu, the company's general manager. Snack Attack expects turnover and profit to double in 2003 and in the next years, as well.
