8m euro mall in Targu Mures

Matrix Transilvania Cluj-Napoca will invest 8 million euros in building a mall in Targu Mures. This is but the first step of its regional development plan, with Sibiu and Brasov as the next targets. "The works on the mall in Targu Mures,located in the central area of the city near the pedestrian passage, will begin in April 2004, and are scheduled for completion in August 2006," said Mircea Lazea, marketing manager of Sora Shopping Center Cluj-Napoca, the company's retail flagship. The complex will take up more than 12,500 sqm, in addition to the about 2,500 sqm used by the pedestrian passage. The building will host over 100 stores, with another 20 locations set for the pedestrian passage. The second level of the mall will be divided among ten fast-food restaurants, while other floors will host entertainment areas, such as a bowling alley and a multiplex cinema. ZF< /P>
