Alro to take over Alprom

Aluminium plant Alro Slatina will become the main shareholder of the other Romanian company operating in this field - Alprom Slatina. The acquisition will simplify the shareholding structure of the two companies and will be operated by taking over the privatisation contract of Alprom Slatina from the consortium comprising Marco International - Marco Acquisitions - Conef Bucharest. The consortium is also the main shareholder of Alro, with an approximately 78% stake. Two days ago, Alro shareholders endorsed the free takeover of the privatisation contract. ZF
