Banca tiriac enters bancassurance partnership

Banca tiriac (tiriac Bank) customers will be able to buy policies issued by Allianz-tiriac Insurance. The two financial institutions, established by businessman Ion tiriac, have signed a cooperation agreement to develop a bancassurance programme. "The agreement concluded by Allianz-tiriac and Banca tiriac encompasses the entire range of life and non-life insurance products. We believe the market is seeing increasing demand for such integrated services and we aimed to enter a strategic partnership with one of the leading insurance companies on the Romanian market and abroad," said Anthony van der Heijden, president of Banca tiriac.
