Five times lower net income for Azomures

Azomures Targu-Mures, a producer of chemical fertilisers, has budgeted net income worth around 0.83m euros (2.94m RON) for this year, down 83% from the net income posted in 2005. The company projects its revenues will total around 225 million euros (789 million RON), while its total expenses will come to almost 224 million euros. Last year, Azomures registered turnover worth 188.8 million euros (684 million RON), while its total revenues amounted to 207 million euros (750 million RON). The company in the first quarter logged losses of more than 3 million euros (11 million RON) triggered by its methane gas supply problems. The company has for this year earmarked investments worth around 2 million euros (2.4 million RON). The majority shareholder of the company is Transworld Fertilizers Holding registered in Luxembourg, with a 56% stake.
