1.3m-euro gross profit for Energoconstructia

Construction company Energoconstructia posted a gross profit worth 4.8 million RON (1.3 million euros) last year, which, given the turnover, means it achieved a 3% gross profit margin, according to results published in the Official Gazette. The company estimates a turnover worth some 180 million RON (50 million euros) for this year, an approximately 11% increase against last year, according to company representatives. Among the most important contracts that Energoconstructia has underway are the rehabilitation of heating networks in Radauti, a project worth 14.5 million RON (4 million euros), the rehabilitation of the main buildings at CET Bucharest, worth 16.5 million RON (4.6 million euros) or increasing the height of the slag warehouse in the Turceni SA Energy Complex, worth 7.4 million RON (2 million euros). The company's suppliers on the Romanian market include Lafarge - Romcim (cement), BADUC Bucharest (supplier of construction material), Energoterm Timisoara (pipes) and Teraplast (pipes).
