Amway: 60% increase after five months

Amway Romania, which operates primarily on the cosmetics market, has budgeted an increase of 40-50% in turnover compared with 2005, which would mean business of up to 35 million euros for the company in 2006. "Our estimate is based on the fact that in the first few months, in the January-May period, we had a 60% increase against the same period in 2005," explains George Popescu, the company''s branch manager. According to him, the company''s strategy involves the launch of new products on the cosmetics segment in 2006. "We have over 700 products in our catalogue at the moment, about half of which are available at all times, while the rest change from one season to another," says the Amway official. ZF
