J''Info Tours relies on business travel

J''Info Tours, one of the major tour-operators in Romania, targets a turnover of about 19 million euros, over 20% more than in 2005, with some 60% of the amount to be supplied by the business travel segment. Last year, the company saw revenues of 6 million euros from ticketing (aeroplane ticket sales) and another 7.5 million euros from tourism packages in Romania and abroad. "The most dynamic ticketing segment is the business (travel) segment. This market has really great potential because it is moving towards more complex packages, covering all the stages of a business trip," stated Cristina Irimia, the company''s marketing manager. The company''s management set up a Corporate/Business Travel department as the result of market developments in this field.
