Walmark increases sales by 50%

The Romanian representative office of pharmaceutical company Walmark in the Czech Republic saw a 52% turnover increase last year, reaching 9 million euros, higher than its initial estimates. "We estimate a 25-30% increase in company revenues this year. The increase of the product portfolio and investments in advertising were the basis of the positive evolution of the company seen last year, a trend which will continue in 2006," stated chief executive of Walmark Romania, Horia Valcu. The expansion of the company''s portfolio targeted weight-loss products and digestive enzymes. "As for rate-card, investments in advertising stood at some 12 million euros last year", said Horia Valcu. ZF
