Ziarul Financiar 16.05.2005
Maschio Gaspardo Romania, a maker of farming equipment announced it would make one million euro investments in the manufacturing of new farming equipment models. "Investments last year amounted to 1.4 million euros and targeted the doubling of our production capacity while the turnover stood at 5 million euros. This year''s development plans target exceeding the turnover in 2004, but sales unfortunately depend on various factors - farming subsidies, the smooth running of the SAPARD projects, the weather conditions and the price of the agricultural produce, so that we cannot make estimates of this year''s turnover," Mirco Maschio, Maschio Gaspardo Romania administrator told ZF Transilvania. Maschio Gaspardo sells its products in Russia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, Italy, France, Poland and Slovakia but 70% of its sales are made on the Romanian market. For ty percent of its sales are made to major farming companies like Cerealcom Dolj, Agrochirnogi Calarasi, TCE 3 Brazi from Insula Mare a Brailei. ZF
