Interamerican on Tuesday officially launched three investment programmes in RON associated with unit-linked life policies, structured according to various degrees of risk: Ronsafe (low risk), Ronmedium (medium risk) and Ronplus (high risk). The company started selling these policies in the first week of January, with the number of policies concluded until now standing at about 150. These products are life insurance policies with an investment component. Part of the premium paid by the insured person is destined to cover the insured risk, with the rest of the money to be invested in fund units; the insured person is the one taking the risk. Ron safe invests a maximum of 50% of the insured persons'''' money in municipal bonds and in bank deposits, government securities and deposit certificates. From the beginning of the year the price of a unit rose by 1.12%. ZF
