Ziarul Financiar 20.08.2007
Angst, one of the main domestic manufacturers of meat products, in the first six months of this year registered a turnover worth 27m euros, up 23% against the same period last year, when it generated an only 22m-euro turnover and a 35% income increase. Angst in the first six months of 2007 registered a 4% profit margin, which means it posted a net income worth around 1m euros. "The turnover estimated for this year was 60m euros, but given the financial situation registered at the end of this half, we consider a turnover worth 70m euros is more realistic," stated Sorin Minea, chairman of Angst group. Angst representatives revised their financial estimates for this year amid the expansion of the store network, both in the west of the country and in Bucharest. The company currently owns a network of 25 stores, 20 of which are located in Bucharest, two in Buftea, one in Otopeni, one in Sinaia and one in Cluj.
