Red Bull Romania turnover up 34% in 2007

Red Bull Romania posted a 78 million-RON turnover last year, up 34% from the 58 million RON registered in the previous year, according to the energy drink distributor. The energy drink segment increased 70% last year, with the upward trend expected to continue this year as well, after the Romanian market was one of the most dynamic, according to Red Bull Romania. The company was set up in 2004, as a subsidiary to the Austrian group Red Bull GmbH. Competitors on the local market include Coca-Cola HBC and Dacardi Impex.
