ONRC: It is now possible to submit incorporation papers online

In a few weeks it will be possible to submit online all the documents required to establish a company on file with the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC), as soon as an Emergency Ordinance from the Justice Ministry, together with ONRC, has modified the stamp law. The fact that it is not possible to attach the fiscal stamp that confirms payment of its respective tax is the only obstacle that needs to be overcome in order to submit all papers online with the Trade Registry. "For the smart electronic form filing system to work completely, we need to modify a legal stamp law. Anyway, from the experience of other countries, we need a few years for companies to move from the old method, and go online," said Bogdan Gaurean, deputy general manager at the Trade Registry.
