Prodal 94's market share up 18%

Prodal 94, the maker of Stalinskaya vodka and Wembley gin, posted an 18% increase in market share in the first six months of the year compared with the same time in 2007, according to AC Nielsen data, cited by company representatives. "The highest increases in value were registered by our representative brands, Stalinskaya (19%) and Wembley Dry Gin (17%), followed closely by Passion Brandy. We are very close to what we set out to attain this year and we also want to exceed our initial estimates," stated Florin Radulescu, Prodal's general manager. Florin Radulescu, 42, became the general manager of Prodal on October 1, 2007, after he relinquished his position as general manager of the PepsiCo bottler for the Romanian market and the Republic of Moldova, Pepsi Americas Romania.
