British-held HiLo PSS, one of the few producers of storage systems on the local market, forecasts a 12 million-euro turnover for this year, up 60% against last year, amid more intensive investments in industrial and logistical space. Hilo PSS has so far invested over 11 million euros in developing a storage systems plant in Rasnov, near Brasov. "The majority of products manufactured in Romania used to be exported to the UK, Hungary, Slovakia and Belgium, but as investments in the logistical and retail sectors have increased, so have sales on the local market. We will continue investments in our plant near Brasov in order to cover local demand," James Delap, CEO of HiLo PSS, told ZF. Consumption of storage space will reach 40 million euros this year, up by around 10% against last year, according to HiLo PSS estimates, while the company currently holds a 10% market share.
