Beyler to build 150 villas on the site of current plant

Beyler Galati, a doors manufacturer, intends to relocate its activities following a 7 million-euro investment and will develop a 150-villa district on the site of the current plant, a project that will require 40 million euros. The investment in building the new plant will take place over the course of next year, with the real estate project to start in 2010, said Mehmet Fazlioglu, administrative adviser of the company, which is entirely Turkish-held. Both projects will be conducted on a company-held 9.5-ha plot. The reasons for the decision to relocate operations are to increase the effectiveness of the production process and to cut costs, according to Fazlioglu. Beyler manufactures metallic, interior doors, PVC profiles and PVC trim.
