Cefin: Romania can overcome financial crisis shock

Stefano Albarosa, chief executive of Cefin Holding, a group with 400 million-euro turnover on the Romanian market, and 1,400 employees, says in times of crisis it is important to use all one's resources to advance. "Romania has the necessary resources to move past this financial shock. That is precisely why, when our competitors stop to think or wait, we believe it is time to step forward. It is very difficult to be on top when everybody is racing full speed ahead, it's much easier to be there when everybody is pondering what to do," Stefano Albarosa told ZF Transilvania. He believes in Romania, this crisis offers opportunities because everything becomes more reasonable, everybody is thinking twice. "In the automotive industry, we cannot say the effects of a crisis have been felt, especially since a 20% growth does not signal crisis," added Albarosa. He believes that, in order not to see a lower growth rate, Romania needs to continue its investments.
