Octavian Radu sees positive signs for courier business

TCE Logistica courier, part of RTC Holding group controlled by Octavian Radu, ended the first six months of this year with turnover worth 9m euros, up 39% from a year ago. The company during December-May period made 400 people redundant, keeping 1,400 employees. It also gave up 150 cars of a total of 600. "Now we're starting to positively feel, in financial terms, the outcome of all the steps taken to counter the crisis since the beginning of the year and that of the talks we had to seal important contracts with major clients," says Sorin Sofian, the company's general manager. "(...) We expect to witness an activity increase at yearend, but compared with the rest of the year and not with previous years".
