Businessman Dinu Patriciu has appointed British-born Ross MacDiarmid to run office buildings in the portfolio of Fabian investment fund, a fund he acquired at the beginning of this year. MacDiarmid also holds an executive position with Quintet Asset Management, led by Michael Lloyd, former head of the Baneasa mega-project in Northern Bucharest. "Due to various resourcing needs, Quintet was asked to provide some administrative services to Fabian companies. Ross MacDiarmid holds these responsibilities in parallel with the Quintet related activities," Michael Lloyd, chairman of Quintet Asset Management, told ZF. Ross MacDiarmid, 50, is Chief Investment Officer of Quintet. His responsibilities within the Fabian fund include management of companies that hold the Cascade Office Building and the Baneasa Business Center in Bucharest in their portfolio. Fabian will also take over the Cubic Center building in Pipera (Northern Bucharest), for which no lease contract has been signed yet.
